Monday April 27, warm (hot) windy sunny, taste of summer. Moved mini rose bushes, now will be able to see from Kitchen window. Planted Hydranges, will have to cover for the next few nights, moved a big grass to front of house, not doing well in present location. Huge line up all day at the niger seed feeder, those canaries love that seed.

Sunday April 26, 2009 Rainy Cold Windy 6 degrees, not a great day for working out, but a good day to look at what is going on in garden a make some plans for moving plants etc.

Saturday April 25, hot humid sunny afternoon, major thunderstorm 4:00 pm. Started day with visit to one of our local garden centres. I could spend hours there, Hubby says I should get a job there. Bought some bags of dirt for flower pots and two hydranges. My goal this year is to garden a very very low budget, only spent $96.00 I had a gift certificate so really spent zero.
In the afternoon we started our first project of the year to enlarge our Hosta garden as we have and area that will not grow grass due to neighbours trees. Hubby built a miny cedar rail fence we use to separate area, now I must continue to move rocks and plants.

Getting Started

Hi. My name is Patience and I love to garden. We are just a couple of miles from the
shores of Georgian Bay, Ontario and today, April 24, 2009 feels like the first official day
of spring. If is 20.7 degrees and the sun is full and a wind from the south. Just as good as heaven. I have been gardening in this location since 1988 and it is the place where I
most like to be.
There are no rude customers, there are no line ups except at the bird bath and I make the
rules for this little piece of the planet. Well my and two basset hounds.
I will take you on a tour of heaven, we have many garden rooms, we have water gardening, we have vegetable gardening, we have pot gardening and we have flower gardening.
The tour begins shortly.
You would be welcome to join us.
